Theresa Kowall-Shipp
An American/Canadian media professional, Theresa has created, produced, directed and/or written shows for multiple platforms. A prolific content creator and confirmed and joyous workaholic, she is a hands-on showrunner with hundreds of hours of TV to her credit, including co-creating the ground-breaking competition series Recipe to Riches (international format) and award-winning doc series Confucius Was a Foodie (PBS/Nat Geo People). As showrunner and director, she adapted the BBC format Star Portraits for Bravo Canada, stickhandled the Science and Technology Academy Awards for Discovery and brought a doc format to renovation: Bryk Cottage (Blue Ant). Most recently she delivered 50 half hours of factual Chaos to Calm to Aspire TV. Kowall-Shipp is well seasoned at producing live TV after four years as senior producer for Christine Cushing Live (live nightly/Food Network Canada) and numerous awards shows and specials. Her first feature length documentary, Badass Beauty Queen, is currently available on Amazon Prime.
